Steve Jobs passed away this week, and the internet responded. Some entities like Apple and Pixar did so in a respectful, thoughtful way, and others did not. There have been a few blog posts that say something about his legacy, something interesting, something different, or something meaningful, better than I can. And then there is the huge tidal wave of opportunistic click bait, personal brand building and just plain crass and ingenuine ‘mourning’, all of which fed the Internet’s insatiable hunger for grief porn.
