By all accounts, more and more people online are using Google’s “Almost-but-not-quite” SSL search. Which isn’t actually surprising. What is surprising is the purported sharp increase. It is just a shame that there has been no real confirmation yet. After all Google did not avoid this topic when they originally rolled out SSL search for all of their signed in users.
Regardless, paid search referrers from Adwords remain unaffected by this. Though I would not be surprised if something changes for those buying traffic, depending on if AdID or something like it is eventually adopted. Needless to say, this is a very very large assumption.
